Star used to praised Howard. Star is now Clear Channel's bitch and has been ordered to attack Howard.

I never really understood his appeal. Is the radio show much different than his televised shows on the E! channel? I've seen the show on TV but didn't think too highly of it.
Whatever floats your boat, but I don't find it to be that entertaining.

The radio show is COMPLETELY different than the E! show. The E! show is 20 mins of the radio program, which is 4-5 hours a day.

I listen to him because of the COMEDY. Stern himself isn't that funny. Artie Lange, Beetlejuice, Fred's strategically placed sound effects, etc...this is the comedy gold mine. The radio show is easily the funniest regularly broadcast program on TV or radio.

Here's what's interesting.
He doesn't comform to being PC like the rest of public media. He be-friends midgets, retards, strippers wh0r3s, angry blacks & kkk members. He has real interviews with the likes of Hugh Heffner, and Donald Trump. He gives away cash/jewelry/breast implants...you name it. He's very honest. I think the fun of listening to his show is when it doesn't stay on track and just ends up with un-organized conversation. there is *NO* other radio show that can claim that much entertainment without trying to keep their core audiance and walking a fine line with staying clean.
It's a fun show to listen to if you don't have something up your butt.

His broadcasts are trite, monotonous, repetitive, commonplace, stale, tired, pedestrian, recurring, cyclic, rhythmic, dull, boring, tedious, tiresome, uninteresting, drobing, unvaried, undiverse, narrow-ranging, unspeckled, unmixed, unmottled, undifferent, unassorted, unpied, etc.

I would be willing to bet I was listening to Stern when you were still nothing more than a thought in your mother and fathers mind. You are partly correct though, he has not been a must listen for me since he morphed into the very self obsessed celebrity he so brilliantly used to skewer before his divorce.

Maybe I'm the only chump who simply doesn't find Stern very funny. He doesn't offend me or anything, it's just that most of his ****** is mindless dribble.

meh. fair retort.
I've listened on and off but mostly for the past 1-2 years.
It'd be cool if I had the chance to see the sides you did. It's still entertaining non-the-less.

I don't think the guy is funny, but I think his show is very interesting. I like his show. When I was in High School, I hated the guy, but that's before I actually listened to his show.

It used to be pretty interesting but IMO the show is no longer funny. I'd rather get XM and listen to O&A personally but then again having monthly payments for a radio is not my cup of tea.

Good luck to Stern and the gang!
