Howard Stern on Letterman tonight

I love it. Letterman has always been a subversive by nature, and this is a great chance for Dave to help Howard stick it to the man. Les Moonves is going to crap his pants.

Yeah, Howard is real subversive with his 500mil deal.

This issue has been run over like a squirrel at rush hour.

He is not being paid that much. That's how much he gets to run/advertise/produce his show.

And Howard Stern is the biggest jackass moron that ever existed. Only the low browls listen to him.

What does he have left to rant about? All the complaining just makes him look like a poser. (and I'm a fan)

He is being paid that much if you include the stock he has.

How to win friends and influence people.

Apparently CBS wimped out and pulled his segment. No mention of Howard being on tonights show during commercials on CSI Miami.

Yeah I just heard that wierd they didn't mention him at all during the ad's all night long. They only mentioned Kerry and some Sidewalk bits. Guess they didn't want to publicize his appearance.

I agree the show is much better. I thought the same thing before I went to Sirius. Figured the thrill would be gone since he had total freedom of speach but overall the show is much better. They have been doing a lot of the things they wanted to do on terrestrial radio but couldn't. Also some of the supporting case like Artie have a much bigger part on the show. He is a real funny dude.

Have you heard it? Its non stop content now. I listened to a show from back in 2001 and compared it what it is now. Almost no comparison. They are much more creative now, avoid cursing and go for good laughs. One strange thing Ive noticed since listening is that you become a connoisseur of comedy. Things that wouldve gotten a chuckle from me before just arent cuttn it anymore.

They tie the shows together like they used to and do followups, but now theres deeper comedy when they reference something from an earlier show in one word that only a fan would understand. Theres also alot more variety of characters then their used to be. I cant explain much more than that.

They just don't curse because they can... They curse where appropriate (just the same as in normal conversation).

The fact that a clueless phlegm gargler like you thinks he's low brow is the best endorsement he could get.

the show is good because it's FUNNY, not because they use profanity

Fred's sound effects and Artie are the best parts of the show
