How2 change to Gnome from KDE in Linux..

Hello,

Im currently running KDE in Mandrake 8.1.
I want to install Gnome (Window Manager).
I didnt install it when i first setup Mandrake.

And know want to give it a shot.
How do you go about changing/installing.

All help will be appreciated

get the tarball or rpm from gnome.org, install it, then edit ~/.xinitrc and change (i think) "startkde" to "gnome-session", restart X and voila

Don't you have the graphical menu where you pick what kind of session you want to have when you start?
