I know it sounds a silly question in US since modem is slow. But I just wanna ask for my bro living in Vietnam. Basically, modems are popular there. My bro wants to share Internet between computers. In addition, he wants to setup a local intranet too.
Could you please help me this problem?

No problem :)

I actually used Freesco in a small business for about 6 months while waiting for DSL to become available. It's a cool thing and only took me about 20 minutes to get it running. The most important part is making sure you have a network card like a 3COM PCI card that has built in drivers on the freesco boot disk.

You can configure one computer as a router. It will need NAT cards in all your other computers too. Hook them all together through a hub. I believe every version of Windows since 98 can do this. I know that FreeBSD and other *NIX OS's support it.

You can just buy a hub and set it up so one computer is the main server that dialups whenever another computer tries to access the Internet.

I just used XP Pro's ICS and a switch to route it to the other comps in the network...set it up to dial in whenever someone tried to access the net, everything worked just fine and cost no extra money...
