lets say an average person has 15 days PTO, about 10 holidays, and 52*2 weekend days. thats 129 days a year that you dont have to work.

hypothetically, suppose you could use those days any way you wanted. you could keep the current work schedule of 5 work days followed by 2 weekend days, or you could work for 236 days in a row, then take 129 days off in a row, what would you prefer? or you could work 10 days in a row, then take a 4 day weekend every other week, or any other combination you can think of.

i think i'd want 236 days in a row, then one long ass vacation. what do you think?

I would work an average of 60 hours a week including holidays. It doesn't matter what days you take on or off. What matters is your average weekly hours.

the longest i have worked without a day off is about 80 days , roughly

if i could do any schedule, i would work 10-12 hour per day, 6 days per week. do that twice a year for however long it takes to do the "normal" number of working hours, the 2 breaks would be however long is left over split in half
