Replace it with nicoteen gum or some other smoking deterrent.. But, if you just keep stealing his cigarettes, you're just costing your family money.

exactly, you're literally flushing his money down the toilet. It'd be better to have your mother confront him about it.

i did confront him....and the thing that just pisses me off, is we're in a sort of financial hardship right now...we can't buy simple things sometimes cuz we're saving money...yet he goes out and buys those $60 packs of smokes....and obviously he smokes about 1-2 packs each day

Hmm since your dad is the one making the money to buy those $60 pack of smokes you should keep your freaky little hands out of his pockets. Nothing is going to make your dad quit until he wants to. He should go in to your room while you are at school and steal a bunch of your stuff and sell it to buy his Cigs and cut off your internet too. Little thief

Buy the book "The easy way to STOP smoking" by Alan Carr. Worked for me and others I know.

i'd be pissed if he was stealing them to smoke them. if he was stealing them to keep me from smoking them, i'd still be pissed, but it would be forgiveable.

sit him down with whatever he's stolen for the week and make him smoke every single one right there in front of you. with any luck, he'll get so sick (and be so ashamed) that he'll quit on his own, or at least cut back.

/worked for me, but i was only 5, and it was only 1 cigarette
