I had a friend who I have known for 5 years, came out to me 3 years ago. I wasn't suprised when she told she was bisexual, it was not big deal. She told me and that was that, plus I kinda figured it out before she even told me.

Wouldn't really change my opinion at all. I had a friend who came out partially, but I had moved away from him a long time ago. It didn't really change things because I had not seen him in a long time. I don't think it would change things... it might change my outlook some. My outlook right now is that I don't care either way. I don't choose a friend based on sexual preference or sex.

My sister is a lesbian, and I have known this for about a year now. She hasn't told me yet though. But when she does I'll just be like "sweet, so how are classes going?" It won't be a big deal.

Same with a close friend. If it is a male close friend, I'd trust he would know not to come onto me as I am hetero. If he didn't know better, I would tell him that I'm not interested.

If it was a friend it would probably just verify my long time suspicions.

If it was a relative I would give that person support but wouldn't be too approving of his/her choice.
