How would you rate your life on a scale of 1-10?

I would say an 8........it's been good but i've done some dumb things and there are things I could've done better also.

Because, no matter how you live, life could ALWAYS be worse. I could be poor, unemployed, sick, without friends, without teeth, handicapped, mentally ill, in prison... the list goes on.

Id give mine an 8 because of those reasons however I disagree with your point. There are some things you can change and some which you cannot. Assuming 10 is tops, that means your life can never improve. Nothing good or unexpected can ever make it better. If I lived a life where I knew hopes or dreams beyond what I am or what I could do for my family could never be realized, I think I would be sad.

In comparison to avg folks like you and me... 8.

In comparison to someone making their own life, who's made tons of money and is getting anything and everything they've ever wanted... my life is a 5.
