How would you rate this memory stick

I am looking to get this to upgrade me comp....

PNY 512MB

How does this particular memory stick stack up as far as performance is concerened.

I am using it to upgrade or rather add on to my 256MB that I have right now..

Any inputs are welcome

its a good stick of ram as far as i know

not a big fan of pony, their memory is almost as generic as you can get... that said i haven't had any probs with the compusa branded pony stuff i got a year and a half ago at a presidents day sale.

Would you say its worth it if I spent like 40 on this one?? I am getting it from someone else who says it band new...not out of the cover...

Especially since you can get crucial for not a lot more..I was a bit wary
