If it's German, and she pronounces it in the correct German way, then it's "see-ler".

(I have a German last name, but my family doesn't pronounce it "correctly", so...)

Seeing as how so many people in here seem to have the delusion of knowledge, I'll go ahead and reiterate my answer: zee-ler. Word initial S in German is pronounced as English Z.

Actually, if it's German you pronounce it Zee-ler.
