Gimme some ideas/ Also, if you have any good investing resources feel free to pass them along. 🙂

I would start by buying a really nice, really big, really heavy bed and then put the rest of the money under it. Perhaps when Obama opens Cuba up to tourism I would invest in some land or hotel/resort over there. If their government has even half a brain it is going to once again become the vacation hotspot it was in the late 20's early 30's.

I'd pay off the house and dump the remaining 100K into index funds. I'm 27 so I have no worries about waiting out the recovery.

Build a smallish rendering plant (with $20,000), or get a little independent computer store off the ground. Building, repairing, etc, etc.

Eew!

$280k would have to go towards paying off the NIMBYs in the neighborhood.

put it all in GGP stock... watch that 300K go to a million+ in a month, few million in a couple years, or slim chances falling to 0.

Sell my place in COLDorado, combine the money and buy a place in a warm location I can SCUBA dive at and be able to see more then 2 feet.

I;d put 200k towards retirement, and 100k towards a car.

haha, that doesn't leave much for upkeep or insurance for a 100k car.......

That's what the job is for.

Easy for you to say...welfare for my 14 kids doesn't stretch like it use to.

I would use it to open up a computer and electronics store. One that would carry rows and rows of computer parts at fair prices, would have a section for PC and console gaming (with gaming rigs and console setups, with free weekly and monthly tournaments w/prizes) and a small section for junk food, host free classes on computer training (From basic to advanced skills), offer repair at fair prices, and just be overall awesome.

I'm not saying it would make a profit (probably wouldn't), but that would be like a dream investment for me.

1. Buy 30 $10k houses in Detroit.
2. Wait for Detroit to make Top 100 places to live list.
3. Profit.

With enough room for all of ATOT?

Slumber party at your house!

😱 I was trying to paraphrase the Jaws line about a bigger boat, but didn't think of the possible misinterpretations. 😱
