My advice, seriously, don't mess with their stuff. No matter how annoying they are, if you damage their stuff, they hold the moral and legal high ground. Messing with someone else's things is IMO pretty wrong. If, of course, they have acted against your posessions first, all bets are off

sorry, i just find it funny that the land"owner" aka subletter doesnt know their own rights in this situation. you "own" the property, you have most the rights of the original owner in your relationship to the subletteee...
