Home's here just spiked....looking to sell his $99k place in 1999 for $440k
now he is drilling in the front of my apartment (5:17pm sunday)...he said he gave a relator the keys to my place...but she won't come in unless I am here (I think this is illegal in Florida)....gave my wife same day viewing on the place...I wasnt there or I'd have said "sorry come back tomorrow."
anyone know the laws, I am pretty sure in Florida it's 24 hour notice and the landlord can't give keys to non-personnel? I am looking for a home myself, this apartment is really nice and only $550 a month (average here is $1250+)...hence why I am not sinking money elsewhere. However the last month all hell is breaking loose. I told him last week the next time he brings 'lawn furniture' right along the side of my car (I park next to him) I would have a serious problem...he has over 10' of space next to his driver's side, yet he runs stuff right up next to my car.
he has been trying to be *the man* lately...since I moved in here he is constantly giving me financial advice, like 'your rent is due the 1st, why pay it early...take your time'. 🙂 'Why did you buy a new car? Can you afford that?' etc.
His other tenants pay 30+ days. it's only 3 apartments here. I am trying to buy a home in this area.
