How would you define the perfect moral code?

Ultima seems to do a pretty good job :p What would you change or add/delete from that to make it better or worse?

How in general would you define the perfect moral code to live by? What virtues, or values?

I'm only using Ultima as an example, but how could any of this (Ultima Virtues) ever be perceived as being bad?

Wait, are you trying to use these virtues in the game as a model for real life or are you trying to further apply real life models to the game?

Using these virtues from the game in real life. These seem like a very solid base for all behaviour.

The beginning of the game shows the dicotomies of these "virtues".

Like most things keep it simple.

Avoid causing suffering to anything (this includes plants and animal) unless in failing to do so you will cause harm to yourself or another.
Treat others as you would have them treat you.

Lol, yes they do.

I'm pretty sure the game creators weren't the first to think of them.

My original point still stands however.

Obviously :p

What I'm asking is, how could this be changed to make it better or more complete? Are there ideals or virtues or ways of living that aren't included in this list?

I'm curious to know how others think it (or any other list of virtues) could be improved

Obviously weighing the "causing harm" definition relies on a valuation of life. We see humans above other animals and animals above plants but that is anthrocentric, and degrees of harm vs value of the life are were the argument begins.

The other stuff is just human interpretation

A) Obey Dirigible.
B) Do not anger Dirigible.
C) Seek to please Dirigible.

Those three rules should be added to everyone's moral code. Life would be much better then.
