How would I put all the files from a Win98SE boot disk onto a cd to make it bootable?

If you have nero, it can create a boot disk for you and then you can add the desired files before the final burn.

Check their help menus since its been a long time since I did it. And I learned by searching the help menu so I know its there.

Never tried but I assume some burning programs have the option to make a bootable CD, or you could make a bootdisk (floppy) and select/drag all the files into a burning program and set your bios the boot from CD first.

i dont think you can just c/p the files. i believe the cd needs to be bootable in order for it to boot from cd-rom. if it was that easy, i wouldnt be asking how to do it.

I think the batch file (setramd.bat) that loads the RAM drive contains references to a:\, so you would need to edit it.
