how would i download a video on a website that is embedded in flash?

You likely cannot, but you can try. You will need Flash.

The .swf on the home page is actually calling other .swf files. Perhaps you could save this to your hard drive...

Then try opening it in Flash and see if you can find the .swf you are looking for. Then save it to your hard drive, open it with Flash, and export to .avi.
 
Download the new Realplayer Beta..it downloads most .flv flash files
and works with Internet explorer.

From there you can convert it with SUPER to any format.

This is all free software..works great to convert Youtube etc.

SUPER has a great MP4/AAC converter for converting flash video to play in your
Itunes Jukebox.
