How would an SK6 stack up against an Alpha or FOP???

I was just checking out Harcocp's heatsink roundup. It was okay, cept that they don't put these new coolers up against the older ones. I remember when the FOP38 and the Alpha's were the best, and they are cheaper now... I was curious if anyone knew. Thanks.

SK6 would knock their socks off. They really aren't competitive in the high end HSF market anymore. They are more mid range now.

Agreed, stick a HO Delta fan on an SK6 and you are looking at one of the best aircooling solution on the market, IMHO.

smp...you said it, they don't compare the new against the old, and unfortunately, some assume that means that just because they're older, they can't hang with the "latest and greatest" The SK-6 is a damn fine HSF, however until some credible tests are performed with proper HSF selection, and testing methodology, don't believe it.
