There hasn't been any major speed increases since the 2600k to today.
Your within I'd say 5-10% of (i7 4790K / i7 5960X) on most gaming benchmarks. No reason to upgrade at all.
You just compared a factory clocked 2600k to a 4790k.
OC that 2600k and show me the difference.
which is silly since the 4790k already comes oced and the OP does not have a stock 3770k anyway. clock for clock there is about 10% difference between the 3770k and 4790k and in realistic gaming cases that will never been seen.I compared stock to stock.
