Three (3), yes three, cookies to the first ATOTer to post which SciFi novel that comes from. No, not any version of StarTrek.

I haven't read it yet, but I'm guessing Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

I've often been described as "The Planet's Largest Source of Natural Gas."

I guess I'd have fun playing "Pull My Finger."

So one day, you (Yes, a hypothetical you a thousand years from now) traveling in an intergalactic cruiser happen to chance upon an uncharted world hosting a still primitive form of civilization.

How would you deal with the situation:

Help them advance Gain +5 Good points

or

Play god and mess with their world +50000 Evil points

or

Do nothing at all and just leave them as they are. Gain 500 Gold

Fixed!
Good luck with your game OP!

You mean the "F8ck the planets most beautiful women while lording your superior technology over them which you refuse to give them because of your superior morals" prime directive?

When I design or build a system, I make absolutely sure that it's designed to what I call the "V'Ger Rule". If you've seen "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", you'll understand.

Put simply, the "V'Ger Rule" states:
"A System must continue to operate in a correct and safe manner in the absence of its Creator".

Or, put another way:

1. No blowing up any spaceships ;
2. No joyriding in Carbon Units ;
3. Fat, balding starship captains are to be shot on sight, especially ones that follow the "If you can't eat it,
drink it, steal it, spend it or have sex with it, blow it up" mantra.
