How will Geforce 3 & hard drive prices come down in the next few months?

Added to this board because of suggestion:

My computer, built about 11 months ago, is starting to fall a little bit behind with my new games (just copied my rig for simplicity):

CPU: AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1200MHz @ 1360MHz
Motherboard: Abit KT7A-RAID
Memory: 512 MB of Crucial PC133
Video Card: Winfast Leadtek (Nvidia Geforce2 Pro 64 MB)
Hard Drive: Maxtor 40.0 GB @ 7200 RPMS
Monitor: NEC MultiSync FP950
DVD Manufacturer & Model: Pioneer 16x
CDR/CDRW Manufacturer & Model: HP CD-Writer Plus
Storage Interface: IDE, IDE-RAID
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 X-Gamer
Operating System: Windows XP

Good for about 4000 3D Marks. I'm hoping to kick that up between 6k and 7k. (Games are my priority)

What I'm looking to do is update my video card and double my hard drive to use my RAID capabilities.

I'm looking to get a Geforce 3, I'm not looking to spend more than 125/150. Here are the current prices, for comparison sake.
$375 - GeForce4 TI 4600
$275 - GeForce4 TI 4400
$229 - GeForce3 TI 500
$121 - GeForce3 TI 200
$198 - GeForce3 Deluxe
$157 - GeForce3

I was looking for the TI 200, but it doesn't look like too much of an upgrade over what I have for the price. I would like the Ti 500, but it's a little pricy for my budget.

With the Geforce 4s hitting the market, how much with the GeForce 3 TI 500 come down? I really won't be playing many games until about June 1 (varsity baseball, a musical, etc.), so I have 2 1/2 months for prices to drop. With the GF3 Ti 500 not being the hottest thing on the market anymore, will it come down much more? I'd like to see it at $150 absolute max, hopefully lower. What do you all think will happen?

Also, how is the Gainward brand Geforce 3 Ti 500s? I may be able to get a deal on these.

With my 2nd hard drive, should I just get another Maxtor 7200 RPM 40.0GB drive? Is there another brand I should consider? Thanks for the suggestions. If you have any other suggestions for a nice upgrade to my system, I'd appreciate it. (If I have some extra money at the end, I may get a 1900+ Athlon XP or something, but not sure I trust myself enough to replace it like that.)

Thanks for the suggestions/predictions.

GF3 is getting phased out of production. the price might take a bit of a dip but then they'll all be gone. my suggestion is to watch hotdeals forum for another visiontek ti200 for $85 type deal.

According to Anand, the Geforce 4 4200 which is coming out soon will be the best bang for buck.Around $199 retail-then wait untill the hot deal comes.

Anyone find any good links analyzing the difference between the upcoming 4200 and the GF3 Ti 500? Debating between the two, just want to see some specs and preview scores comparing them. When is that one coming out?
