How well does 4850 CF work

Was thinking of adding another 4850 to my X48 board for dual 4850's in crossfire. How well does crossfire work in games? I game at 1680x1050 and play games like COD4, Oblivion and Stalker...

Stalker scales and plays fine on my 3850's. 1680x1050 would be a sweet spot for 4850 Crossfire, plenty of room for AA/AF.
