Reading more about the test it says the manual version, not the one here, but the one that comes in a kit with colors you sort by hand, has also been used to help diagnose medical conditions.

I had never thought about that before. I wonder how much medical conditions like diabetes do effect a persons ability to see colors correctly.

Based on your information, below is how your score compares to those of others with similar demographic information.

* Your score: 3
* Gender: Male
* Age range: 20-29
* Best score for your gender and age range: 0
* Highest score for your gender and age range: 1439

Only spot I had some problems with was the teal, blueish-green hues (just off to the left side of the center of the spectrum as they showed it).

Considering that most people have poorly calibrated monitors (myself included, even though mines is true 8-bit: just lazy and low standards), how accurate is this "test"...

Anyways, I fail. I did one row, then couldn't stand the visual 'tatoo' of 4 rows.

8. That test is fking hard regardless if you can differentiate hues well or not.

I got a 3.

Give me a quart (maybe a gallon on an off day) of paint and standard Sherwin-Williams tints and I could reproduce every single one of those colors by eye, too.

I was curious how much the monitor effects the results so I emailed and got the response: "

If the monitor is using the correct color depth it will show if a tester is deficient in a spectrum regardless of whether or not the monitor is correctly calibrated to the individual colors. If the monitor or color temperature of the monitor is not set correctly the results will still show that the tester is deficient. The results of the test may list the wrong spectrum range as being the problematic area for the tester.
"

So from that I guess it means if it says you got a problem , you maybe do, but not necessarily in the exact colors it says.

Wow. I bet I could been pretty successful as a CG artist. Oh well -- those types of jobs probably don't pay all that great anyhow. Looks like all these years of staring at a computer screen at work and at home hasn't completely ruined my eyes.
