How was Tommy Morrison cured from HIV?

According to his Wiki page and a few other articles I read, he is going to box again. The thing is, this guy got diagnosed with HIV right after he made the Rocky movie. How in the world was he cured of HIV? Was it a lie all along? Who would do something like that?

Wouldn't someone go back for several tests to reconfirm the diagnosis?

What are the chances that this guy was given a false positive? I mean I don't understand why he would not go for a second opinion or test. But for some reason he now tests negative for HIV. He's tested negative for it on four occassions since December of 06.

Perhaps there is a drug that will mask the HIV? Who knows but this is really weird.

No he isn't. He has never came out and claimed that his tests are HIV negative. Surely his money has bought him treatment that not many can have access to. However, this is entirely different. Tommy Morrison has tested negative on four different occassions since December of 06. Very weird.

Didn't know that....but HIV generally turns into AIDS within...what...10-12 years? Hasn't Magic been positive for like...14? I dunno...i didn't look it up.

Well the thing that trips me out the most is why in world would you not go back for a second opinion? Everyday normal people do it all the time. Whether it's a diagnosis for cancer, HIV or whatever. It just leaves me befuddled that he didn't look for a second opinion lol.
