Not very difficult to post using a desktop or laptop and on a cell phone at the same time. Depending on the internet service both can be shown as being hundreds of miles away.

Using my work laptop while connected via the VPN will make me appear to be posting from Kansas no matter where in the world I happen to be at the time

I laugh every time moonbeam makes these threads because inevitably it always ends up the same... the righties always prove his statements correct!

Without fail they always deny what he says by stating emotions and gut feelings as facts and they always end up in personal attacks. Not once has anyone ever provided a counter study or any evidence contrary to his or even tried to discredit the studies themselves.

Really, righties (he calls them conservatives but I think they are different), should really change their name/affiliation to "incorruptibles", because their beliefs are so strong, so deep, that they can't be corrupted by facts or data that would challenge their beliefs.

It's truely remarkable and quite honestly, interesting watching people who believe with 100% certainty to know what the truth is and at the same time to actually deny the what the truth is. And it happens at so many levels, intrapersonal, interpersonal, and at the political level.

Sadly I have yet to see anything that can penetrate their bubble. I suspect that these types of people have always existed but I'd imagine that throughout history they were either relegated to the outskirts of towns or civilization or simply shamed into quietness but it seems that maybe, only recently, that they are no longer shamed and that the internet and other communication methods, have allowed them to be more open.

lol. I'm not a fan of psychobabble. I'm fairly certain everyone's core problems are often alot simpler than they appear. Like family pressuring you to go a direction in life that makes you unhappy. Or growing up poor and always being jealous of the rich, etc. Or not having the desired level of structure/autonomy/money vs your expectations. Or not having a girlfriend at a certain point in life when you thought you would, etc.

For edification; a lunar ray is the result of an impact on the surface of a body.... mainly the Moon and Mars. It is a sort of scaring one sees when one looks at those bodies. It has not to do with beams of reflected or direct light as a Moonbeam would be.... but even a moon beam is not a totally accurate concept as used by some to describe a ray of light or other visible photon event.


More importantly, however, is what some have determined as one person having two accounts and both posting herein. What I find interesting is when it is shown to be false the reaction from the absolutely certain proclaimers of the this alleged truth will be as one would expect from a Conservative mind set. They will continue to believe it to be true in the face of the evidence. Or they will say, "who cares", or some defense to cover up the egg deposited on their faces....
My advice is to never ever proclaim as certain anything that can be falsified. Stick to the bible or some other un falsifiable notion so you can continue to argue a belief based on tea pots orbiting Saturn or some such.

I don't care if you and Moonie are the same person or not, but I do find it interesting, and it's certainly plausible.
Everyone loves a good "who done it", and playing internet sleuth is a bit of a hobby for some around here. Since I don't see either of you being harmed in any way by the accusation, I would expect it to end up as most P&N threads, a tempest in a tea pot.

From what I can tell, LunarRay is used to bolster his position and act as a foil in many discussions around here, but "they" also talk back and forth a great deal too. Go and look at their posts, going back for years, LunarRay only posts after Moonbeam and only in the same threads, acting in support of the main account, or even to give him encouragement, to look like he has someone to watch his back. Generally, it's a posting flurry: Moonie, Moonie, Lunar, Moonie, Lunar, etc.. often just a minute or two apart, again, to give him momentum or support in a discussion.

No shit here, this is serious, I'm actually concerned about his sanity. That's a very long time to keep that going, and I'm sure it's all a part of how he engages people on this forum. As I told him, I don't care what he does, but at the same time I'm not going to play along and address them separately, since I'm now sure of what's going on.

Poor MM is now sure of what he can't have the slightest idea about because his limited reasoning abilities show no other explanation for the data he thinks he has collected. He was told back in 2006 I think it was, when he made these same accusations, by the L & R forum moderator that LR and I are not the same person and here we go again. He claimed back then, if you want to judge the quality of his perception, that the way we post, our literary styles as it were, are the same. Keep poking that stick around, MM, I'm sure you'll eventually find the curb.

Oh, come on! FFS, go and look at LunarRay's posts over the last year, there aren't as many as Moonie's so it's less of a chore, watch the pattern (that account always posts after Moonbeam, commonly right after, and in clusters. Even their word choices are similar, and Lunar's punctuation and capitalization are less precise, generally caused by posting from a mobile device. It's way too uncanny, and structured, to call a coincidence. In fact, it's all so obvious, it's baffling how it's flown under the radar for so long. 😵


Also, I don't need his multiple accounts with him talking to himself to know that he's nuts, you can tell that by his mood swings and behavior. This wrinkle in the whole thing just makes it interesting.

These are the outward manifestations of self hate feeling that are based on unconscious assumptions we were forced by intimidation to make. We were told that we have value only as we comply with the norms our parents gave us, norms that often were in conflict. We could not survive as children without love and we were only loved if we weren't different, weren't like the other, like me. But you were all like me, made to feel completely worthless, the worst in the world. So we limp along broken, thinking we can be fixed by something out there, never turning our eyes inward to feel our inner pain. If we could only live up to our parents expectations, if we could only be rich, if we had security or a girlfriend we would be OK. But the minute we get them we turn it all to shit because we hate ourselves and nothing out there can fill the infinite vacuum that is inside of us.

And this is why we shit on hope and happy people, because we are stuffed full of shit. If we can't love ourselves without ego, but with real self respect we will never be filled. And this is why it is important to know that you are your real enemy, not me. I am only a messenger but one you don't want to hear.

This is why it is important to appeal to the best in people because the best in people is like God, the one in whose image we were created. But if you don't like the idea of God you can substitute your genetic heritage, because it's all one and the same. There used to be a black preacher on TV that drove a Cadillac and used it to teach. He said you had to first imagine yourself in that Cadillac before you could own one. And he wasn't even ashamed of himself because it's what he had done. He made his caravan of dreams arrive. I hope you do the same.
