So what you are saying is poor people are all idiots and need help voting and only Democrat/Liberal groups are allowed to help.
That is typical of the liberal mentality. Everyone is to stupid to fend for themselves thus they need to be hand held at every step of the way.

Ever notice how it's always the poor accused of committing fraud by the right?

It's a whole lot worse then that it is basically say that "You can only vote if we help you and you can only be helped by Dem to vote and no one else." This is where the fraud comes in with the swaying of votes for those who easily lead and persuaded by one side and one side only.

The "progressives" and community organizers were clearly surprised by Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts this past January.

They were determined not to be put out of office come November, they were determined to win at all costs.

The faith of the electorate in the sanctity of the ballot box seems to be the price that was paid.
The thing is Coakely would have been a better Senator than Brown. She's been a great AG.

Now Kerry on the other hand..well he's about as worthless as Brown.

Furthermore the poor are lazy, living off the tit of the taxpayer, and all should be in prison...

Well the poor arent republicans for the most part so why do anything for someone thats not your constituency....

I am trying to remember if I have ever voted in a polling place that had the open carrel voting machines/paper ballots that are captured in the OP photograph.

Most every place I have voted had a curtained machine for privacy. Sometimes pulling a lever to register a vote opened the curtain.

I also can't remember anyone being allowed to enter the voting machine other than the voter when it was time to vote.

Why does Massachusetts allow these people to hold the hands of the voter, to stand with them to make sure they vote Dem, to pass out filled in ballots inside the polling place?

Has anyone here ever experienced this?

The right keeps on claiming voter fraud everytime, but it never seems to be proven. Do you not think there aren't people out there that would be working their hardest to prove it if it indeed had any sort of credible proof with it at all. Do you think it would be such a shrug off issue everytime if there was any link to it being real?

No voter intimidation if they are wearing coats and ties, no voter suppression if they accidentally listed you as a felon, something about Florida in 2000..........................

At least with Brown we can fairly easily vote him out. If Coakley got in it would have been a lifetime appointment.

Its pretty much a democrats only state here in MA. At least as far as statewide seats go. (Sure we have about a dozen republican reps in the state house but thats pretty much it).

Most people just go into the booth and check the D's. I mean, we just voted in a tax-evader Democrat as State Auditor to audit the other Democrats in office. Perfect!

As I was saying, Coakely has been a great AG and definately would have been a better senator than "If it's Brown it's going down" Scott Brown

BTW if the Republicans would have run someone else other than an ex CEO of an HMO Deval Patrick would have been defeated.

We'll never know. I'm much more comfortable with someone that we have a chance of voting out though.

I do think Coakley has been a decent AG though and I rather see her stay there than be democrat senator from MA for life.

I don't really even mind Deval that much.
