How to volt mod TT Tsunami fans??

OP:

The 120mm exhaust fan on the Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case is too loud. I know how to do the 5v and 7v fan mod, but the wiring on these fans are different.

Anyone know how to volt mod these so they run slower? I'm trying to find the fan model number online, but I can't seem to find it.

When I get home from work tonight, I'll post the model number and pictures.

those fans need atleast 6volts to start otherwise you will be in trouble


just get a fan controler don't be cheap

That wiring is normal, this mod should still work fine.

Thanks! It works great! Only took 5 min. Still moves a lot of air, but not as noisy.
