how to use the TV out?

on my GF4 4600 vid card i have a tv out connector. Is this where i can somehow plug in my cable tv cord into the vid card to watch tv on my monitor? How/what kind of cord/adapter do i need to make this work properly?

i could be wrong but i thought tv out worked the other way.... using a tv as your monitor


i have something called wintv (u can get it at compusa) which cable plugs into and u can watch tv on ur pc that way

ahh i see, so i was confuse with something else then.. the tv out is only to use the puter on the tv not the other way around.. thats for the info

how much did that wintv cost at comp usa?

pretty cheap , i think it was under $50
