How to use the home key on a BT Mac keyboard

I've noticed that in some applications it will go to the beginning of the line but in most situations when I hit home nothing happens and it's frustrating. How do I fix this?

are you using OSX or are you using that keyboard on windows? osx home and end keys don't work the way they do on windows. use cmd-left arrow and cmd-right arrow to get the same functionality of home and end keys on windows.

Up until coming to this section of the forums a couple days ago I'd never heard of people using Apple keyboards on a Windows machine, and even now I still question why the hell you would do that.

I use the wired version of the new Apple keyboard with my windows xp pc. A few keys aren't recognized (Insert being the main big one), but it works well enough for me to hang onto it.
