I have Abit KT7A. I downloaded SoftFSB, installed it under Win 2000, and then how do I target it?

run softFSB, select your MB, and click 'get FSB'.. after that, you can select the desired FSB and click 'set FSB'

Out of curiosity whats the benefit of changing the fsb using softbios as opposed to just changing it in the bios?

well, if you change the FSB in BIOS and accidentally put it too high, you'll need to reset/clear the BIOS otherwise the system won't boot correct. or in some BIOS that don't let you adjust the FSB 1Mhz at the time, with Softfst you could. I used Softfst to test what's the maximum that my system can take, and adjust it in BIOS accordingly.
