How to upgrade win98 to winMe under dual boot system?

I am currently triple boot win98, win2k, linux. After I upgrade to winME directly under my win98, what should I do to get my multiple boot function back? Edit boot.ini? Is it the same as my current boot.ini? What if I want to add a new pure dos partition and add it to the boot options? Thanks.
Is there any drawback to upgrade to winMe?
My partition snapshot:
1. 20GB, 4 partitions: win98system, winNT, win98apps, winNTapps,
2. 4GB, 2 partitions: Linux and fat16 docs.
Thanks

Winme install will likely overwrite the C: boot sector, so boot menu will not appear. To get back the w2k boot sector, open w2k Recovery Console and run "fixboot". If winme install formats C: you'll also lose the w2k boot files, but fixboot should repair that damage as well. Adding DOS to the boot menu is not possible as it allows for only one DOS installation, which win9x will be using. It's more convenient to boot DOS from a floppy, anyway.
