How to update maps on Garmin StreetPilot c300?

I was able to update the WebUpdater software (it's operating software).

But I can't figure out how to update the out-dated maps that were preloaded on the unit.

How do I update the maps?

First you need an updated Garmin City Navigator® NT street maps (Version 9 is the most current) which can be purchase from Garmin for the price of $75 if I recall. The new City Navigator® NT street maps should come with an unlocking code to unlock the maps so you can write the new maps to you Garmin GPS unit using the Mapsource software to either the unit's built-in or external memory. The Wedupdater only updates the streetpilot software not maps. GL.

I don't know. Perhaps GPS Passion is a better place to ask about Garmin GPS questions?

Does anyone know if you can use other maps than those listed on the Garmin site?
