How to uninstall Office 97

In XP Home, under add/remove programs, when I try to uninstall Office 97, it prompts me to insert the original CD, which I can't find anymore. Any advice?
 
Delete the Office Directory.

Dig through the registry if you desire and remove references to all Office programs.
Only thing left will be some orphan DLLs
 
There might be some uninstall-only administrative MSI packages available for download on MS's Office site for corp. admins. Might check.
 
Another option would be to purchase an old copy of Office '97 jsut in case you need to perform the uninstall frequently.
