Hi, how do I turn off the function that forwards me an email everytime someone posts a message on the thread I have started? My email box is filling up!!

Thank you,

Chess Gator :)

Then delete your subscriptions.

Hi, I want to keep the subscriptions, so I can see them in "My Forums" I just don't want email notification, is there another way to shut off the emails ? If not, it is time to upgrade the forum software, lots of good one's available !!

Isn't that what happens when you bookmark a topic rather than subscribe to it? (I've never done it.)

When you Bookmark, you don't get emails or PMs when someone posts. It's just listed in "my forums", then "My Posts".
When you subscribe, you get notifications in the format you select in the second page of the profile. PMs or emails.
IIRC.

Sounds like exactly what Chess Gator is looking for. Threads that show up in My Forums without the email notification. Bookmark 'em instead of subscribing.
