To answer the first and obvious questions.. no, im not doin anything against any company or school policy... i do want to have eccp running on my gf's machine (that i built)... but i want it to be COMPLETELY hidden 😀 folder burried deep+ hiddin, running as a service with excellent naming conventions, and last of all.. i need task manager to be fooled 😀 or have eccp stop running with task manager opens up. thanks

rename the .exe

I just did that to mine and in the taskmanager appears 'bob970.exe' has taking 93% of the CPU 😀

Rename the ECCp109 client : Idle.exe then in task manager you'll see an idle process eating 98% of the CPU... your CPU is sleeping ?! 😉 🙂

heh.. that should work good enough i suppose 😀 note.. statsaholic clients supposedly can be set to turn off when task manager opens.. however.. they are slower 😀

Slightly OT, but I thought the Statsaholic version of the client was slightly faster?

Thats what it says in the TA FAQ anyway...

I haven't run ECCp for probably 4 months, but back then, the Statsaholic client was close to 20% faster than the official client on my Athlon 1.4Ghz..

no no.. u gotta use the g6 client.. thats the fastest for everything but the p4's.. and theres separate p4 client
