I've got a carrom board that I'd like to take back to DC. It's roughly 3 feet by 3 feet and won't fit in a suitcase. Any suggestions on how to pack it to keep it safe? Needs to be sturdy since I imagine the luggage handlers tend to toss luggage and stack it.

Tia!

Put on eBay, create fake account, bid on the item, pay yourself, go to art store or UPS/FedEx store and get two large pieces of styro foam, package the board up, ship it to the buyer OR just forget about the eBay part and ship it to yourself.

I guess my question/challenge is how to pack it well for transport. I'm flying back tomorrow and I can check it in or carry on (if they allow it)

Then... pack it like you're shipping it across country and want it to arrive safely? :D
If you don't want to mess about with getting all the packing materials and stuff, maybe a UPS Store would do it for you.
