Well, I just finished building the new computer, and want to run some tests to ensure everything is working properly.

Here's the hardware:
ASUS P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
4x Crucial 2GB, 240-pin DDR2 PC2-5300 CT25664AA667
VisionTek Radeon HD 4850
2x Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB Caviar SATA 7200RPM 16MB Cache
1x Western Digital 250GB SATA 7200RPM
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro HSF
Thermaltake PurePower W0100RU 500W
Antec Three Hundred Gaming Case

As I mentioned, I want to test it to ensure everything is running correctly. i'm currently running Windows Vista Ultimate x64.

Which tests would you recommend so I can test everything and ensure it's working correctly?

Thank you!

Edit - fixed the links :p

Heh, yes that's an easy way :)

But, I meant more as in benchmarking and stress tests.

Any ideas?

uh... not really at all

you should test each individual piece of hardware:

you can chose from this short list:

-test new monitor with deadpixelbuddy
-test CPU stability @ stock speeds & VID with latest OCCT for 2 hours on CPU test
-test each memory DIMM @ rated speed & rated vRam with latest memtest86+ with boot disk for about 30 passes on each DIMM
-test video card @ stock speeds with 3dmark06 or ATi Tool
-test hard drive for bad sectors with HD Tune
-test power supply with 24hr run of p95 (any test as long CPU load is 100%)

all are not necessary but i'd def test the ram & CPU
