How to tell what CPU you have?

I have a Pentium 4 3.0 GHz CPU(from a Dell 3000), but how do I tell what model/series/family it is in order to determine what mobo can accept it?

Thanks!

Ok, this helps a little...but it doesn't tell me what socket type I need.

According to CPU-Z, I have:

Intel Pentium 4, Prescott, mPGA-478, Family 'F', Model '3', Stepping '4'

Right there, you have a socket 478 Board.
