Do I have to take out my cpu to find out what week it is?? i know that it starts like 04xx something like that but is there a way to check it without taking it back out??

i dont think so, you need to turn off the comp, take off the heatsink and look at the #

should have written it down before you put it in

when other people get good OC results, it usually means that CPUs made in that week are all good OC'ers

i have a week 47 winchester 3000+ . . . i THINK those are good oc'ers . . .

not necessarily, but I think that it's a general and relatively useful way to at least gauge the possible oc of yoru chip. Logically it makes sense that if one chip is a good oc those made with the same batch of materials will be equally good. But then again I'm quite unfamiliar with the process of CPU manufacturing, so I'm kinda guessing =P
