I had lightning run in on my TV set and puter. Now, I am getting an estimated replacement cost for the unsurance cost.

My TV was supposed to be a 25" but it doesn't measure 25 inches either direction.(across the viewable surface)

How do I tell what it actually is?

BTW, the model # and stuff is very hard to read on the back.

Thanks,
Jeff

Might be like monitors though, there's viewable image size and actual crt size, so, 25" set may have 23" viewable size.

Best to look at the model # and go from there. Usually the size is in the model #.

1) measure it diagonally

2) you're going to have to move it to replace it right? So what's the big deal about moving it to check the model #?

Hmm....it has a 25 in the model # but diagonally it measures only 21.5
