How to tell stepping on PIII 600E

There is no way that you can tell from the information given on that page.

You can call them up and ask about the s-specs of the processor that they are selling. Then you can match them up against the the S-Spec information table to see what stepping they are giving you.

Ah....but CPUID is only useful AFTER you have bought the processor.....and it's not exactly a lot of use then is it?

For the 600 it does not realy matter if it's a cB0 it should reach 800 even if its cA2
