How to tell single/double sided/banks RAM?

First of all I want to ask if sides & banks in terms of RAM are the same thing??

For example I looked at the specifications of the Value Select CM64SD512-3200.

Organization: 64Mx64
RAM Type: 32Mx8

From this information can I tell if this ram is single/double sided/banks?
I've also read that most, if not all 512MB modules are double sided. Is this true?

I want to be able to put 4 sticks of 512MB modules in a Asus p4p800dx or a Gigabyte GA-8PENXP if I ever need it =P
Would that be possible?

I am struggling between the 2 boards.... hopefully some reviews in the future will help me make my decision 😉

That's double sided since 32Mx8 is 256MB and you would need it on both sides to get the 512MB

32Mx8 is 256Mbit, 16 chips make up 512Mbyte.
They could put all 16 chips on one side or 8 on each side.
