How To Tell Private Mail Has Been Read?

Is there any way to see if a private mail that you sent has been read?

Also, there used to be a way to see the last time a user was online. Is that still possible?

Check their profile to see when last visited. Yours says "Last Visited On:07/31/2005 04:16 PM".

As to the other, I don't know any to tell if a PM has been read.

Did we use to have a read notification in one of the older versions? Similar to stand e-mail options.

Hmm, when I highlight their Profile it doesn't let me view it. Is it possible to prevent people from looking at your profile?

Profile / Personal options / Visibily option for e-mail profile.

Note that disabling your profile visibility will create some problems if you use the FS/FT forum.

Yes.

Technically, no. If someone's profile is disabled, but they have PM's enabled, you can snag their "profileID" from the PM link and plug that into the profile link.
