Hi,

I was wondering how can I tell what resolution and refresh rate I am using in Linux? Is there a command for that?

Thanks for the help,

cant tell by looking? ;-)

uhm, hit ctrl-alt-+ until you switch to the smallest res and count how many back up, then look in your XF86Config and see which one it is ?? should work, not exactly elegant though

you get the some relevant info from the "xdpyinfo" command. That will include resolution, XFree version, extensions, visuals, etc.
