how to tell if you have a MICH or PASGT helmet? now w/picture

I have aquired a kevlar helmet and am ttrying to find out if it is the newer MICH or older PASGT version.

I can say it has 5 pins to attach the head harness only 2 each side 1 in back. it does not have the regular hole for the chin strap so it makes me think it may be a MICH. I was wondering if anyone had pictures of their actual MICH you could post minus the head cover.

The MICH doesn't cover your ears as much.

That's a PASGT helmet. You do not have an ACH or a MICH. You can get the replacement hardware here

but dont the pasgt's have the chin strap attachment area on the ear fold? this doesnt

The PASGT does come with a two point strap. That may be an RBR. And yes, your choice of camera angle sucks.

I've never heard of these acronyms. The newest one is the ACH, Advanced Combat Helmet. Yours looks like the helmet KBR issues to its employees.

I believe KBR issues PASGTs, which are old Army issue. RBRs were never military issue.

doesnt have a label, wish lived closer to a military base so i could get a 4 point harness and make sure it works
