Hey people. How do you find out if you have a Liteon cdrw. I just got a I/O Magic cdrw but alot of these are just rebadged liteon's. but how to tell. there are no indications on the drive that begin with LTR--xxx or to that sort.

thankyou

On my computer, when I boot up, the BIOS tells me a list of what I have on my IDE channels. It says MAXTOR 80gig, Master 1, then LITE-ON 12x CDRW on Master 2... Check there... Of course that screen only stays up for about 3 seconds, so read fast.
