My point exactly.

And this is why we don't allow PEOPLE WHO THINK FOR THEMSELVES in the armed forces.

Despite the cost of living, it's a surprisingly popular choice. I think I'll be a "bleating sheep" and choose to not die from a sniper's bullet - you're welcome to your own opinion.

Well let's see, they know there is a sniper in that building. How do they know that? He must have shot someone or atleast shot at them. So now I'm behind cover with my fellow soldiers like sitting ducks then air support comes in and takes the guy out. I'd be a bit joyous too. I wouldn't care that a bunch of ultra pansies are mad that I'm excited and happy about not getting shot and the guy who wanted to shoot me is dead. Hell, I might rub one out on his corpse and take a picture of the money shot landing on his dead spleen just to piss off the hippies. Well, maybe not.

AUMM-this was completely legit kill.
As for the video with the guys hunting for the sniper by shooting up the passing cars on the highway, absolutely not.

An Iraqi fighting for his nation is no more a bad guy than an American fighting for his country.

However, when you are the one being shot at you don't have time to be like "let him shoot me it is his country and he is defending it". You are taking orders and your number one priority is to SURVIVE. Anyone who attempts to take that away is now your threat.

I have friends who came back from Iraq and a friend who came back from Gunatanamo Cuba. They are all messed up in the head and refuse to talk about it.

I'm just returning the F-ing favor, for calling people who actively refuse to serve in the armed forces "pansies". Don't dish it out if you can't take it, yourself.

Also, when did I ever say I was a 9/11 conspiracy theorist?

You shouldn't be surprised by the reaction. Considering the enormous stress of being under fire was relieved by a spectacular explosion, they were expressing the intensity of the situation.

They're not happy like children on Christmas, they're excited like monkeys at a bonfire, you would be too.

exactly.

I like how the Iraqis fighting for their nation (according to you) are fond of flowing up their fellow countrymen with car bombs.

-----Oops, didn't realize I was replying to an Aimster post....I'd otherwise have saved the bandwidth and chalked it up to general stupidity. My bad.

Well that was awesome. But I gotta ask. . .wouldn't it have been a lot cheaper and less destructive to lob a few grenade rounds up there from a grenade launcher? That seemed a bit excessive to take out 1 guy. Unless they thought there were potentially a lot of hostiles holed up in that building then in that case. . .Rest in pieces mothafvckers!

Imaginary friends often have a hard time voicing their opinions.

Honestly I'm not sure why you think that anyone in this forum would ever believe a word you say.

So are you calling every service member that served, past and present, sheep that don't think for themselves? Not every one that refuses to serve are pansies, but I believe that you would fall under that category of a pansy.

The day that most of our military is made up of mostly pansies that think like this, is the day we should just defund the military. A military cannot be effective in combat if it's made up of a bunch of panty-waisted sissies.

1. I don't think any of them were in any hurry to get their head taken off in an attempt to hit him with a round or two.
2. It's not a guaranteed kill with a 40mm HE in a target that small from that range - these aren't standard frag grenades, they don't spray as much shrapnel - plus directionality wouldn't be in their favour if he's hiding behind the wall.

A LAW maybe, but you still have the problem of "Who's going to volunteer to stand up and get shot?"

Hell, if its my life at stake, excessive force all the way. Grenades might miss, but if you level the entire building, you can be pretty damn sure he's dead. I'd be cheering too, one less gun aimed at me.

So would you be the one to volunteer sticking your neck out to line up a good grenade lob just to save the military a few bucks? I doubt it. They will employ whatever means they have at their disposal that presents the lowest likelihood of them getting themselves killed.

They've just watched too many John Wayne war films where everyone's a knight in shining armor and think it's real.
