how to take a screen shot of an mpeg file?

I've got an mpeg movie that i want to take screen shots of.
Are there any good programs that will take a shot of a scene in a playing Mpeg movie?

i just tried doing alt+print screen, then pasting that into paint, but it didn't work! what the hell???

You have to use a 3rd party app like hypersnap to capture movies and such.

if you use mediaplayer2.exe (the 6.4 version) you can go into the directdraw settings and disable everything, then the movie will show up when you take a screenshot

or if u have later versions what u can do is pause the movie first. Then take the screen shot, it'll work then.

Pause the movie then try alt+print screen and pasting it into paint. I'm pretty sure this will work.
