How to switch my user agent to Linux?

I am currently running XP with SP2 and Mozilla Firefox. Is it possible to switch my computer's user agent so that I can "trick" websites into thinking I am actually running Linux?

Yes, it's possible, but what sites require Linux, as opposed to XP???

There is a good extension for this, called "User agent Switcher". Run a search on the extension section of the mozilla website.
