how to switch from pc to mac

i'll probably be traded my laptop for an ibook soon and was wonder what the process was to transfer my stuff?

What programs do you use? What kinds of files do you have? Asking such a vague question without providing specifics is counterproductive.

Burn it to a cd, upload/download or e-mail yourself, it really depends on how much stuff you want to transfer.

I like the way mac os x looks, like with the yz dock and the taskbar on top, that would be the only reason i would switch if i wanted to, but for right now im fine with my xp pro laptop

Step 1: Go buy a dress
Step 2: Go Buy a new VW Beattle with daisy rims
Step 3: Put on Dress and drive to the mac store in your new beattle
Step 4: Buy an IBook whose color matches your eyes/hair/etc.
Step 5: Turn in man card.

not hard. office apps are compatible. so what else really:p

forgot to add, you'll now have to fend off attacks of the pc fanbois
