How to stop Siri from backtalking

Siri is convenient when setting timers or alarms and should finish executing my commands by saying "done"/"okay"/your alarm is set for X:XX"/etc. Unfortunately, I've been getting a lot of 'tude from Siri lately, and I'd really like to deactivate the Siri absolute bitch mode. How can this be done?
